Pre-Incident Planning

Pre incident plans are formatted to provide our firefighters with the ability to quickly reference the specific information they require to assist them with decision making at an incident. A pre incident plan identifies a building's physical elements, their design and installation, site considerations, occupant hazards, and hazards to firefighters that could be expected to influence decisions made at an incident.

It is the goal of the Fire District to visit every business and commercial occupancy in the District annually to check for hazards that could harm firefighters in an emergency situation

The Fire District has also made available the option for business owners to "self-inspect" their occupancy for hazards and provide crucial information like after hours contacts, etc.
